Premaberg Manufacturing Ltd has been granted ‘Fit for Nuclear’ (F4N) status by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC).
The F4N programme is developed by the Nuclear AMRC to support manufacturers in the nuclear supply chain. With some existing business in the nuclear industry alongside established markets in oil and gas, defence and marine Premaberg is now well placed to supply its air filtration systems into this important sector.
Premaberg supplies moisture eliminators/droplet separators for the removal of water droplets from air streams. This may be for removal of water droplets to aerosols from air inlet systems to prime movers, HVAC systems, plant rooms etc where equipment has to be protected from salt water ingress typically on coastal or marine installations. Systems with differing efficiencies are available depending on the application, particularly to prevent corrosion of plant/ducting.
In addition Premaberg high efficiency water separation units are used on various air exhaust systems to protect HEPA filters from water loading.
Equipment is designed and manufactured in the UK where we have ISO 9001 quality and OHSAS 18001 accreditation.
We have made this very important step in achieving F4N status and very much look forward to working in the nuclear industry.
