Premaberg was established in 1972 to specialise in the design and manufacture of air intake mist eliminator and filtration systems used to protect gas turbines operating on Royal Navy vessels. Premaberg has grown and developed its business with the supply of air intake separators and filtration systems to more than 50 navies around the world, in addition to manufacturing and supplying products for commercial marine ships, cruise ships, offshore oil and gas platforms and railway rolling stock.

Premaberg has its own fabrication and assembly facilities in Halstead, Essex, staffed with a team of skilled and experienced operators. This gives a much greater degree of flexibility and a tighter control on quality and delivery, which are essential for the markets we serve.

Modern Design Meets Tradition and Experience
All Premaberg products are designed in-house on the latest 3D CAD modelling system which can be integrated into customers’ project designs. We are able to undertake detailed flow analysis using the latest CFD software. This has been proven to aid design before manufacture, shortening development time and helping to further refine system performance.

Fit for Nuclear (F4N)
Premaberg has been granted ‘Fit for Nuclear’ (F4N) status by the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC).
The F4N programme is developed by the Nuclear AMRC to support manufacturers in the nuclear supply chain. With some existing business in the nuclear industry alongside established markets in oil and gas, defence and marine Premaberg is now well placed to supply its air filtration systems into this important sector.
