Premaberg single stage moisture separators are applied to a wide range of applications requiring high efficiency water droplet and aerosol removal at air inlets. Typical applications are engine room and general HVAC ventilation intakes for patrol boats, tugs, minesweepers, luxury yachts, cruise ships and all types of vessels. They are also used to protect diesel engines and ventilation systems on offshore platforms and motors/blowers/ventilation plant on railway locomotives and rolling stock.
Various vane profiles are available and these are selected dependent upon the particular operating requirements. Key elements of this range of products are the effective removal of visible water droplets with a low pressure drop and high operating velocities.
